Wonderful local spot for dinner with great service and super-friendly and helpful team. We shared the swordfish main as a starter and it was absolutely delicious and fresh, then the steak tasting platter with the softest most tender, beautifully cooked medium rare steaks. Triple cooked chips and roast broccoli was equally perfect. Thanks so much!
The best place to eat in Hampshire , and the best steaks! Me and my partner love it here, have tried a few things on the menu and it’s 10/10 everytime. the staff are lovely and welcoming , the food is always quick and tastes lovely. The Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and design. Not one bad thing to say.
Such an amazing restaurant. It was very nice, the staff was very friendly, attentive and we really enjoyed the atmosphere in there. The decorations in the place is beautiful and the food is to die for honestly. I'm a kind of person, who doesn't like to try new things too much in restaurants, but I did go out of my comfort zone and absolutely loved it. My partner loved the food too. Such an amazing quality food and I'd say the price was pretty damn good for what we had. Thank you so much and hopefully we will return again when we visit Portsmouth in the future.
Probably one of the best meals out I've ever had! From the beginning, the staff were friendly and welcoming, polite, never overbearing and served with a smile. The food was outstanding! The garlic chicken and duck tapas starters were delicious and the steak and chicken mains were unbelievable. Cooked to what you requested and tasted amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again, lovely atmosphere and perfect food.
Best premium steaks we’ve had in Portsmouth, Hampshire! A steak with chimichurri sauce and red wine is perfect. The environment is cozy and inviting, with great lighting and relaxing music. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better .
Perfect food, worth every single penny we spent. My steak was cooked just how I like it, ribs were amazing too. Lamb chops were perfect as my wife comented. Prawns for starter with amazing garlic sauce the best. Welldone, the team of EL Toro

Very tender and juicy steakes. We tried the tasting menu with 4 different steaks and they were perfectly cooked. 4 x 6 oz was almost too much for 2 persons, you really get value for money. Very nice restaurant
